let's switch to german

So, nachdem ich es satt habe, mir immer auf Englisch was aus den Fingern zu saugen, wird hier ab heute und mit sofortiger Wirkung auf Deutsch gebloggt.
Das nehme ich gleich mal zum Anlass, die heutige Arbeit zu zeigen, denn in einer Stunde sind die Sachen schon nicht mehr im Haus. Mein Sohn hat heute seine Weihnachtsaufführung im Kindergarten und damit endet das "Schuljahr" für ihn dann auch, weshalb ich heute der Kindergärtnerin, die ganz alleine 23 Kinder stemmt, sowie der Unterstützungskindergärtnerin, die sich um das behinderte Kind in der Gruppe kümmert, und auch dem Hausmeister, der aufpasst, dass kein Unbefugter den Kindergarten betritt, ein kleines Dankeschön geben möchte.

Es ist nur eine Kleinigkeit, aber ich denke, die Geste zählt..
Ein Tütchen mit selbstgebackenen Plätzchen (Nussmakronen, Haselnussahnekaramell, Schneeflöckchen und Mürbteigsterne) sowie eine kleine Karte mit besten Wünschen zum Weihnachtsfest.

Bin gespannt, wie die Reaktion sein wird! :)

Today I tried to stamp on candles as I had seen on Daniela's blog. And what can I say? Great!! Definitely I won't have to worry about inventing christmas gifts! :D
These little treasures are for the mothers of my son's best friends, and I am curious if they'll like them.

I think this is my new favorite colour combination! Crumb Cake, Baja Breeze and Old Olive.. They combine really well (as already seen on the baby boy card) and give this card that certain chilly touch of a day outside in December. :)

Good morning! I proudly present my newest card which can't stop to admire. :D It was so much work but totally worth it!
Well, my left hand is kind of sore because I had to punch about 100 branches with my Bird Punch. :) This is definitely not a card for serial production but I could imagine making another 3 or 4 of these. (until my left hand will fall off *lol*)

OH MY GOD! I can't believe it!! Yesterday I opened my shop on DaWanda and today I sold my first card!! I am so excited! Where is the champagne?? The orchestra? :D Want to know which card will travel tomorrow? Here it is:

sweet christmas wishes

Thanks to Annemarie from First Hand Emotion I never lose my desire to order the great stuff from Stampin Up! :D And so these heart shaped treat cups travelled all the way to my home and had to be used immediately.

whale, owl and a baby boy

While I visited my mother in Germany she asked me to create a card for a new born baby of her friend's daughter. As she will gift this overall from loud+proud I took the chance to try if Old Olive, Bajabreeze and Crumb Cake would combine well. And what can I say? They combine great!

a very simple ornament card

Two weeks without internet and blogging.. That was tough!! But I went to my mother's house and spent some family time..
Plus I had to make my cards with few equipment, so these christmas cards turned out very simple. But I couldn't resist to try the ornament punch which arrived two days after my arrival.. :)

I don't like occasions like the one this card was made for. After ten years of fighting against cancer my father's best friend's wife passed away last week. And this is the card I'll send to her family.
